On "East Coast" Tour - Tri-State Region (NY/NJ/CT)

Aloha Again,

Nubian Pageant Systems' Owners (from Maui, Hawaii) are on tour on the "East Coast" for the next few months giving presentations & providing displays of their cultural pageant work with local communities, specifically in the Tri-State region.  During the month of February, like last year, Nubian Pageant Systems and the African Americans on Maui conducted African Cultural presentations (World Black History) at Borders Book Store in Maui, Kahului (HI)--our deepest thanks to Borders Book Stores senior management for the past 15 years and now Starbucks.

Similar to this measure, Nubian Pageant Systems will have on display in the Englewood, New Jersey Starbucks Store a display of its past cultural pageants conducted in New York & Hawaii with endorsements from & pictures with both Governors: The Honorable George Pataki (NY) & Benjamin Cayetano (HI).

If you are not available to witness this historical display of cultural pageant memorabilia, ask a family member or friend in your stead to visit this Starbucks store in Englewood, NJ, any time during the month of April.

Nubian Pageant Systems has also associated itself with volunteering time to the "369th Historical Society Inc.," famously known as the 369th 15th Regiment "Harlem Hell Fighters."

During this blog or outside of it, please feel free to ask for more detail about Nubian Pageant Systems and its near future plans or about how you also support the "369th Historical Society Inc."

Sincerely We Remain,

George & Terri

Aloha Mike! Thanks for your input and comments. We absolutely love your music and you! Those wonderful songs you wrote exclusively for Nubian Pageant Systems were perfect and they mean so much to us. You are a truly gifted composer and musician and anyone needing musical assistance should ask for you at Freemondo Productions. You are so fun-loving, talented and energetic! All the best with your new endeavors as you revive your musical opportunities! Have fun! NPS loves you! Terri Rainey Owner

We have really been enjoying the honoring birthday parties of two wonderful 369th Historical Society Senior Veterans! Retired Captain Charles Rowland and the Legendary 369th Harlem Hellfighters' Historian and producer of "Men of Bronze" DVD, Bill Miles! Charles was 83 on April 12th and Bill turned 80 on the 18th of April! They were honored by the soldiers, the 369th Historical Society and staff at the 369th Armory in Harlem New York. Nubian Pageant Systems is volunteering there while on tour and contributing to the preservation of the heros and sheroes! Sgt. Tremble, the Museum Curator, has done and continues to do a fantastic job of preserving the history of our African American Military! Happy Birthday Charles and Bill! We'll be back for the 2012 parties! God bless you,the 369th Harlem Hellfighters and the 369th Historical Soiciety. We enjoy meeting new Vets each time we come to our Harlem home at the 369th! Mahalo for your ho'okipa! (hospitality)

Hi Family & Friends!! Nubian Pageant Systems had a successful tour at Starbucks in Englewood, New Jersey during the month of April 2011! Our "Nubian Pageant Systems Historical Cultural Collection" display was creative and educational. Many Starbucks guests enjoyed the enrichment of our rich African Culture display tributing our Ancestors as they visited the famous Coffee Store! Our display represented over 18+ years of our cultural work in a unique colorul, informative style. We were deeply honored to share. You may visit our display at our site at: www.nubian-pageants.com directing you to YouTube. Now we want to send a huge "MAHALO" to Starbucks and the Englewood Staff for inviting us to share and add culture to their environment as they continue to fulfill their community service roles. Rainey & Rainey, Owners of Nubian Pageant Systems™, have been quite involved with the “369th Historical Society” at the Harlem Hellfighters’ Armory since their arrival in the spring of this year. They are “Lifetime Members of the 369th Historical Society”, and welcome you to join as well to support the archival work of preserving the correct history of the African American Heroes and Sheroes from past wars our nation fought. We have been helpful in organizing, helping to catalog memorabilia, documenting, supporting, attending events and of late videoing interviews of many Veterans…many now in their 80’ s and 90’s! We will attend the “369th Veterans’ Parade 2011” as VIP’s on May 15th and then return to the Armory in Harlem to network at their celebration! A real treat! It’s such a great feeling to be part of this family and be among such wonderful Veterans and hear their stories! They are now our lifelong friends and part of the Nubian Pageant Systems’ Family! On May 28th, George and Terri will attend the “Cypress Hills National Cemetery” in honor of the late Veterans for a Memorial Day Memoriam. We will be supporting the 369th Harlem Hellfighters memory and have an opportunity to place flags on their headstones! We will be posting many of the interviews to our Nubian Pageant Systems™ Site so stay tuned! These honored individuals have done much to preserve our freedom and we need to sing their praises! As Nubian Pageant Systems™ continues to “Serve in the Footsteps of Our Ancestors,” we are humbly honored to continue giving back, and contributing to the community to make a difference. It’s one of the richest things we can ever do. Remember, you too can contribute to the 369th Historical Society, just click their site link on our page, download the membership form, print, fill out and mail back with your check. These valuable tax deductible gifts help them continue the monumental work of preserving the history of our Heroes and Sheroes. Also if you have any historical items related to the 369th, feel free to contact Sgt. Trimble, Curator, at the “369th Historical Society” to discuss. MAHALO TO OUR VETERANS!

Nubian Pageant Systems is busy in Maui, HI, helping to plan our Events for year end (2011) & beginning of 2012 (year)--considered "1st Fruits":

  • 1)Kwanzaa Events,
  • 2)Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Events, and
  • 3)Black Her\History Events for our U.S.A. official & designated month (February) for Black Her\History;

    However, please be advised that NPS celebrates such events throughout the calendar year. We are delighted to announce that these event efforts are being coordinated with Dr. Ayin Adams, and the African Americans on Maui Association (AAOMA), a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Events will take place around the beautiful Island of Maui, Hawaii, at various venues! We enjoy making a difference with the work we do as guardians of our African Culture. Stay tuned for the calendar of events for your participation.

    You are invited to view Dr. Ayin Adam's and/or the African Americans on Maui Association (AAOMA's) link provided on the left. Also, take a peek at our "Titleholders Testimonials" link for Mrs. Nubian Hawaii 1997's heartwarming testimony. She also shared her picture with President and Mrs. Obama. We love our Nubian Pageant Systems Family. It's so nice to reconnect!
